Good to know
- The text uses a tab between term and definition and a new line between cards, Quizlet's defaults.
- Line breaks inside a field are turned into spaces so each card stays on one line.
- Quizlet's import takes text only; images and audio stay in Anki.
What you paste into Quizlet
One card per line, a tab between term and definition. Quizlet's import box recognises this without changing any setting.
la manzana apple el perro dog, hound der Hund dog
Questions
Where is Import in Quizlet?
Create a new set and click Import (or Import from Word, Excel, Google Docs). Paste the text, keep Tab and New line, and the cards appear.
Is there a limit on cards?
Not here. Quizlet itself may limit very large imports; split the deck if it refuses.
Can I do the reverse?
Yes, with the Quizlet to Anki tool.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is read by your browser on your own device and never sent to a server. Once the page has loaded it even works offline.
