Good to know
- When you change a highlight, Kindle saves it again. Only the longest version is kept.
- Bookmarks are skipped; notes are kept and marked as notes.
- Kindles set to German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch and other languages are read too.
What My Clippings.txt looks like
Every highlight is a block with the book, a line with the location and date, then the text. Blocks are separated by a row of equals signs.
Cien años de soledad (García Márquez, Gabriel) - Your Highlight on page 3 | Location 40-42 | Added on Monday Muchos años después, frente al pelotón de fusilamiento ==========
That block becomes one card: the highlight on the front, the book and author on the back.
